Hi,  we're now leaving Dakar after a wonderful 2 and a half years.  Dakar Bean Bags has been a really fun enterprise and we're very grateful to everyone who's bought a bean bag - we hope you are really enjoying them.

We hope our tailor will be able to keep Dakar Bean Bags going, but we've run down our stock so can't fulfil any orders at the current time.  If you're interested in a bean bag or supporting our Senegalese tailor, do get in touch by emailing us at DakarBeanBags@gmail.com.

Many thanks,

The Dakar Bean Bags Team

Our Bean Bags

In our home in Plateau, we have been making lots of beautiful, handcrafted beanbags, using a range of wax materials found in Dakar.

Our first bean bags were made using our own sewing machine, but we now employ a wonderful young Senegalese tailor.

Our bean bags have a few helpful features for your convenience.  They have an inner and outer cover and we've installed a zip so that you can wash the outer cover of your bean bag if it gets dirty.  We added a handle so that you can easily carry your bean bag to wherever you need it.  To make our bean bags stronger, we have double-stitched seams and made sure they are double-lined.  Last of all, we have added an option so that you can have your bean bag made in any wax fabric of your choices!

Now...have fun shopping!!
